 Here's a recipe for refreshing homemade mango juice          

Ingredients

3 ripe mangoes

2 cups cold water

1-2 tablespoons sugar (optional, adjust to taste)

Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

Wash the mangoes thoroughly under running water. Then, using a sharp knife, carefully slice off the top of each mango, where the stem was attached.

Hold one mango upright on a cutting board and make vertical cuts on either side of the pit to remove the mango cheeks. Repeat the process for the other two mangoes. You should have six mango cheeks in total. 

Score the tissue of every mango cheek in a confound design without penetrating the skin.. This will make it easier to scoop out the pulp.

Take a spoon and gently scoop out the mango pulp from each cheek, collecting it in a blender jar or a bowl.

Once you have all the mango pulp, add cold water to the blender jar or bowl with the mango pulp.

If you prefer a sweeter juice, add sugar to the mixture. Start with a tablespoon of sugar and adjust according to your taste preferences. You can also omit the sugar if the mangoes are already sweet enough for you.

Blend the mixture on high speed until you get a smooth and creamy consistency. Make sure the sugar, if added, is fully dissolved. 

If desired, strain the juice through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any fibrous bits or unwanted particles. This step is optional, as some people prefer the texture of mango juice with the pulp.

Transfer the mango juice to a pitcher or serving glasses. If you'd like your juice to be chilled, add some ice cubes to the pitcher or individual glasses.

Give the juice a quick stir before serving. Pour it into glasses and garnish with a mango slice or a sprig of mint, if desired.
