Ingredients
For the Chicken Balls
500 grams boneless chicken, minced
2 tablespoons corn flour
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon red chili sauce
1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
For the Sauce
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
1 medium-sized capsicum, finely chopped
2 green chilies, finely chopped (optional)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
1 tablespoon chili sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 1 tablespoon cornflour blended in with 1/4 cup water
1 cup chicken broth or water
Salt to taste
Spring onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the minced chicken, cornflour, all-purpose flour, ginger paste, garlic paste, soy sauce, red chili sauce, black pepper powder, and salt. Mix everything well to form a sticky mixture.
Shape the mixture into small, bite-sized balls. If the mixture is too sticky, you can apply some oil on your palms to make it easier to handle.
